Usage

Getting started

Open a workspace that has requirements in the format specified by reqstool. The extension initializes automatically.

There is an output channel that shows when a workspace is initialized.

Hover information

When hovering over @Requirements or @SVCs annotations in supported languages (Java, Python), the extension displays:

  • Requirement details (ID, title, description)

  • Software Verification Case information

  • Manual Verification Case information

File watcher

If a directory with requirements files is found, the extension watches for changes and automatically re-runs reqstool when a file is modified.
